What is an off-grid photovoltaic system?
An off-grid (or grid-independent) photovoltaic system is an electricity generation system that uses solar panels to produce direct current (DC) that is stored in batteries. This system is not connected to the public power grid and is designed to provide electricity for homes or businesses located in isolated areas or without access to public power grids.
